Department of Botany

Situated in the beautiful panorama of the Campus of Krishna Degree College offers three year B.Sc program. The Department of Botany was founded in 2012 (i.e. the birth year of the college), the department of Botany is one of the leading departments of RPS Degree College. It has on its faculty highly competent and efficient members. Several faculty members are recipients of awards and honours of high academic repute. The department has good laboratory facilities for carrying out practical knowledge of the fields such as: Plant Biochemistry, Plant and Molecular Biology, Various Techniques like Chromatography, Electrophoresis and Spectrometry etc. The library of the Botany department has excellent collection of books, research journals; it occupies a special position of pride in the department. Department of Chemistry

Situated in the picturesque surroundings on the Campus of Krishna Degree College offers programs leading to M.Sc. The Department of Chemistry was founded in 2012 (i.e. the birth year of the college), the department of Chemistry is one of the prestigious departments of Krishna Degree College. It has on its faculty highly competent and efficient members whose work is internationally recognized. Several faculty members are recipients of awards and honors, such as Young Scientist Award, Meritorious Research Fellowship in Science, Visiting Research Fellowship for carrying out research in India and abroad. At the same time, they are involved in the various administrative bodies of RPS Group of Institutions and contribute towards the running of the home institution.

Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce is an integral part of the Krishna Degree College and was founded in 2012. Krishna Degree College offers three year B.Com program. The course is structured on semester system. Each academic session has two semesters with entire course divided into six semesters. In Departmental Library, there are various books on Management, Marketing, Accounting, Banking, Economics and many more for the students. In addition there are various magazines and journals also with the help of which students prepare themselves for banking sector and other competitive exams. The Department organizes curricular and extra-curricular activities for the students, including Quiz Contests, Group Discussions, Workshops and Seminars.

Department of Computer Science

With globalization of the Indian economy, vast opportunities of growth have been thrown open for the computer software and hardware industry. Besides imparting theoretical knowledge, a lot of stress is laid on hands-on training and overall development of the individual personality. A lot of current technology workshops are conducted in department. Apart from teaching and workshop activities students are also introduced to extra curricular activities, Live Projects, Programming contests, debates, Group Discussions, Presentations etc. The department has well qualified and motivated faculty members and support staff. The laboratories are adequately equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The students of UG and PG classes are made familiar with the fundamental to the latest development in computer world.

Department of Geography

Department of Geography is situated in the picturesque surroundings on the Campus of Krishna Degree College offers programs leading to M.Sc. It is one of the prestigious departments of College started in 2012 at undergraduate level, subsequently elated to post graduate level in 2013. Department of Geography is fortunate to be equipped with highly competent and efficient faculty members whose work is nationally and internationally recognized. At the same time, they are actively involved in various administrative bodies of KRISHNA Group of Institutions and contribute towards the running of the home institution.

Department of Humanities

The Department of English and Cultural Studies is an integral part of the budding college. Keeping itself updated with the recent buzz of academia (i.e. Cultural Studies), it added the key word ‘Cultural’ with its name. It has a well-equipped Language Lab with multi-media audio-visual systems and computers. In addition there is a library which stocks relevant books on literature and language. Apart from abiding by the prescribed syllabus of the university the faculty members familiarize the students with various approaches to literature and language. The Department organizes curricular and extra-curricular activities for the students, including Quiz Contests, Declamation Contests, Group Discussions, Workshops and Seminars. The faculty of the Department is actively engaged in research pursuits and each member has authored several research papers. The Faculty includes several highly visible academics who have traveled extensively for academic purposes. At the same time, they are involved in the various administrative bodies of KRISHNA Group of Institution and contribute towards the running of the home institution.

Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at KRISHNA Degree College was established in 2012 with the goal of a centre excellence for teaching and research in the mathematical sciences. Teachers in the department have exceptional research backgrounds and have taught at prestigious universities. The group's mission is to support research in fundamental and related topics of mathematics by providing good education. Both pure and applied mathematics are successful subjects for students to pursue. The Department of Mathematics offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It runs a three year B.Sc. programme leading to the degree of M.Sc. The Department is a major participant in running of KRISHNA PG College. The expert, dedicated and research oriented faculty of the Department runs coaching exclusively for JRF/ NET & GATE exam and various competitions for IISC, ISI, JNU, IIT, NBHM, TIFR and JAM etc.

Department of Physics

The Physics Department at the Rao Pahlad Singh Degree College is committed to providing all of our undergraduate and postgraduate students the opportunity to realize their maximum potential as a physicist. The honors course in Physics not only provides an in-depth view of topics relating to physics but also integrates them with other disciplines like electronics, mathematics and chemistry. In order to cater to the queries and expectations of the students, the department has well-equipped laboratories dedicated for physics, electronics and computer-based experiments. The course prepares students with a broad foundation in fundamental principles of Mathematics, Science, and Electronics, and the ability to apply this knowledge to understand the design, analysis, and implementation of real-life complex systems. Students build on their strong foundation by engaging in experiential learning co-related to classroom teaching.

Department of Zoology

The department of Zoology at KRISHNA Degree College (KRISHNADC)is a dynamic hub of academic excellence and research innovation.
